changing compressor housing to make bigger turbo??
i have a td04L and thought about changing the compressor housing to td05. is that possible? would i have to change out the wheel too? would this be like a t3/t4 type hybrid? where can i find a td05 housing that is a c-clip style and not a bolt on style? should i just forget it and get a larger turbo?
thanks in advance.

If you just toss a bigger compressor housing on, you will have a turbo that runs VERY HORRIBLY.
You need to install a new wheel and a properly machined housing for it to even work. You need to match the turbine side properly for it to work well.

I heard of dsmers actually just boring/porting out there compressor sides to get more flow through. Im going to do this to my t25 in my homemade del sol turbo project just to check it out, i heard its good for 40 horse

heres my amateur attempt at "boring" out my Mitsu TD05, not the full housing, but just the turbine inlet and compressor outlet(matches the 2" outlet pipe pretty nicely)....plus....its mad shiny and bling, bling yo!
