CEL lights comes on sometimes?? (b16 w/ 55 dry zex)
I just installed a 55 shot zex dry kit on my b16a in my 91 std hatch. Im running a pr3 ecu (non obd).
When im using my ZEX, It will pull good through 1st and 2nd, but when i hit third my CEL light will come on and VTEC doesnt engage and my rev limiter becomes 7500.
Why is this? It doesnt always happen but most of the time it does. It also happens when im in third and i use the ZEX.

I'm not sure what the computer does when it reads detonation, but that is definitely a knock sensor code. Maybe, your motor isn't getting enough fuel when you spray, and your knock sensor is sensing detonation, and throwing it into limp mode. I don't know if the computer is smart enough to do that or not.
What fuel settings are you using? The thing about dry kits, is that it doesn't add it's own fuel, so if you don't turn the fuel pressure way up, you'll get into detonation, and BANG...your motors gone. Like my friends prelude on a zex 75 dry.
I am running a 75 wet shot from Nitrous express on my b16. That's a good kit. It adds its own fuel, resulting in a perfect mixture. I checked my spark plugs after a run, and not the first sign of any leaning out, or detonation. It makes a lot of power too. feels like more than 75 hp!
