castrol GTX or Mobil 1???

I have used mobil 1 since I swapped this motor. and just now installing my turbo. I have both oils and have read all the archived topics.

Any recent opinions?

My friend did some testing on oils in his autotech class at college. Mobile1 and synthoil are the best they tested. Supertech, the cheap *** walmart **** was up there!!! castrol GTX finished in dead last.

I use royal purple. Never a problem, didn't burn like mobile1 or Castrol Syntec.

Royal purple is also good stuff. Up there with Amsoil and mobile1. BTW; i think amsoil beat mobile1 by a little bit in his tests.
