carbon hood + Boosted underhood temps
anyone have problems with their carbon fiber hoods and the extra heat given off from the turbocharger and manifold? Just curioius, I just got a carbon hood, and might put some sort of heat protection. Has anyone else done this to their hoods?

Just put a little self adhesive relfective heat tap on the underside of the hood in the areas you feel it to be vulnerable. You should be good either way though. Carbon fiber is some tough stuff.

Re: (JDMisGOOD)
one more thing, would it be a good idea to shoot a coat of clear over the factory finish to help protect against exterior fading?
