carbon deposits at exhaust runners
hi
I dont run very rich for the moment, around 11.5:1 at boost and between 13:1 and 15:1 at daily driving.
I took the exhaust manifold today, and saw that the exhaust ports at the cylinder head have carbon deposits, I can take them off with a piece of wood to see the aluminum surface again.
is this normal or not ?
does it mean all the parts in the head are like this ?
does it also mean that cylinder walls are like this ?
the height of carbon deposit is around 1 mm (0.04 inch)
