car won't rev past 3500 rpm
ok here's the deal. i put my turbo kit on. (junk yard kit) ok my car won't rev past 3500 rpm's. I checked my codes and i'm getting a code 3, and 16.. the injector codes i'm guessing is because i have ford probe injectors, and the map sensor code is i'm guessing cause I have no relief valves and or no missing link, i bought a blox missing link off a guy on here it should've been here , but i'm giving it till tomorow. but would not having the ML cause my car not to rev past 3500? I have searched the forum, but i'm not throwing the other codes like the guys that said there car won't rev past 3500. So what is the problem? i have no clue, and any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks,

your cars in limp mode.. probably because your running waaay too rich. but limp mode also would cause your car to run rich regaurdless.

you should be using stock injectors with the FMU, (if its a 12:1 FMU that is) because 310cc are dumping alot of fuel into the motor without something to lean them out at idle...like an SAFC

TRY it with the stock injectors.. see how it idles, and see if the CEL will go away. if it does not go away then you know the problem isnt a result from the injectors , directly.

ok, problem solved, I couldn't put the stockinjectors back in because I had already dremaled out my injector seals so they'd be bigger, but one of the four injector clips was broke so it had popped off the injector, so i reconected it and now she runs fine and throughing no code, but it's dumping oil through the turbo, smoking really bad, so that means the turbo is **** huh? like it had little in and out shaft play.. maybe i'll by a rebuilt kit or find somone with a 14b turbo, cause I already have adapter plate and mani, so I don't want to spend money on different turbo and mani. thanx for your help.
