got my car tuned the other day by a buddy of mine using uberdata and a wideband and all on 8 psi, is it safe for me to run 10 psi on it and be ok?

You are best off tuning further than you will need when you get together with your friend. That way if you get a spike or want to turn it up for the track you will be able to without picking up your motor in a coffee can.

Re: (Cray91)
The key is to tune for MAX boost (ie: 30psi). Then you can run anything under your max boost setting using a boost controller. The ecu will use the same map, but adjust according to your setting.
Does that sound right?

Re: (MIKE JONES)
On a relative note, once I put my 3" inch exhaust on my setup started getting boost creep from 7psi all the way up to 11psi. I took it to my tuner and he said everything was fine and that it was still running on the rich side.

Re: (Rod.)
to answer your question more accurately, it depends on if your tuner modified the tables above 8psi. if he didnt go over them and the lines are all fd up and intersecting, then dont do it.
ask your tuner, not us. its that simple.

Just because your t00ner did it doesn't mean this kids tuner did. That's the problem. Also, ignition tables do come into play... not just fueling.
