Car runs HOT after COLDER plugs???!

I changed my stock plugs for the ZEX plugs (For Nitrous Use) this weekend and today I noticed my temp gauge was between 12 oclock and 1 oclock!! Granted it is like a 100 deg outside and I was sitting in traffic with the AC on, but NONE of my Integras have EVER left the 10 oclock mark NO MATTER WHAT! I'm going to change the coolant this weekend, but want to know if this is typical with colder plugs in VERY hot weather. TIA, -C
