Car just died on the street
i was driving to the gas station. this is my first fillup since i put in my turbo. the car is already tuned. well newayz i filled up my tank, started the car and pulled out into the street. after one min when i get to a redlight the car just dies for no reason, shuts off completly. well some guy helped me pull into a parking lot and tried to crank it and it sounded like it wanted to go but didnt. tried it one more time and applied gas and it turned on. anyone know what could be the prob.

Re: Car just died on the street (eg6T)
This happened to me and as I was tunning I realized that my 3 bar map sensor was reading full 28 PSI when the car was off. I just went ahead and jiggled wires and then it started right up. If you have a 3 bar this might be it. Holding the throttle full open doesn't do anything on a full injected car anyway since they run off vaccum presence.

hmm strange, cause when installed my fuel pump wrong my car did the same thing when it gets low on gas. It sounds like the ignition but when i brought it to the shop the car wasnt gettting any fuel so it was a fuel pump failure.. i later found out that the filter i dropped in with my walbro intank was installed correctly and it shitted on me.

Re: Car just died on the street (XxRoCkMaNxNEOxX)
It happened to me before, as many people say it's fuel pressure, however the cause of your problem it's not your fuel pump or regulator.
Even it's hard to believe, your main relay it's going bad and sometimes it fails to work for a while specially when you shutoff the car for a few minutes and then you try to start it again. I would get me a spare relay and have it in the car or replace it 'cause it won't get any better.
