Nice idea on the filter setup
Would be pretty catostrophic to run without a filter though

that would also be a cool way to run a straight downpipe to keep your motor cleaner by getting the smoke outta the engine bay! Given that you got some stiff mounts and a flex pipe in there somewhere! good work though, piping looks nice and simple.

Might be best if you use all silicone tubing for the air intake...better yet get a hump hose. I'd think you might tear that one up when the engine torques around if you use solid tubing between the car and the turbo.

info ....

the car is not mine, i built it for a customer.
cable trans because the customer had a 90 integra before the civic coupe. and decided to keep the trans (it has a quaife in it already) he sold the integra body to some kid.

on the end of the tube where the filet goes we are goin to put on a 45 and than attach a regular cone filter.

ill let you guys know how it goes on the dyno..we are shoooting for 400 on pump gas and i dont even know how high on race gas(116)

shocker..ya the intake through the frame rail is a beautiful idea..short and cold air, whatt more could ya ask for.

hopefully between 15-20 psi on pump. higher on race gas...

im hoping the kid gets a cage runs fwd street class. it should be pretty competitive depending on his skill.
