Default Car doesnt maintain idle on cold start (d16z6 turbo)

Every time i start my car during a cold start, it would die. I have to maintain the idle by putting my foot down on the gas till it warms up. Is this because of the thick oil weight? Using Valvoline full synt 20w50. Or could it be my iac valve? Also, im using a t25 turbo and when the car idles under 500rpm, the turbine doesnt spin, but when idling around 800, it spins freely. Is this cause the turbo doesnt have enough exhaust gas to spin or cause its a bad turbo?

sounds like your cold idle parameters are incorrect in your software.

Ok, what about the turbo not spinning under 500rpms at idle? The car idles around 500 or less but after driving a couple miles, it starts idling back to 800, is this my iacv going bad?

Sounds like it, that idle is too low

But also it could be in your tune. Did it start happening as of recent, or was this after the tune?

Cant tell you if it was recent or not, bought the car but when i bought it, it ran fine till now. Ok when i pull the iacv off, water started dripping from it or at least it seems like it. It smelled like coolant actually, and you know how the iacv has to hoses connecting to it, well mine apparently has one going to the tb, and the middle one is sealed off. Is this suppose to be like this on a turbo car? Also, car is blowing white smoke from the exhaust, could this be that the turbo is going out? And my greddy bov adjusting screw is stripped, so its barely on there, what do i do? I tighten it as much as i could and you know when a thread is stripped, it tightens and loosens even if your tightening it. I know its aot of questions but i need help, this is a big headache. Any tips or ideas on how to proceed is appreciated.

Sounds like this thing was hacked up quite a bit. You're supposed to have coolant in the IACV, theres a feed and a return line on it, goes through the throttlebody. White smoke from exhaust indicates coolant leak. Low idle and white smoke could also mean you have a blown head gasket/warped head. Don't run the car any more until you diagnose the problem. Run a compression test and cylinder leakdown test and report back.

No codes, this is really weird. I read a post about a blown headgasket and one of the way to test for one is to remove the radiator cap and see if bubbles come up when revving and nothing came up, also its takes about 20min to get to my school city driving and my temp gauge stayed perfectly still where its suppose to be. But im gonna do a compression test as soon as i get out of school.

Oh and last night, I clean the iacv and I adjusted the idle screw and now it starts up on cold start without dying. But anybody know why its smoking on cold start? Valve stem seal? Also, why does my iacv have one line open and the line in the middle is blocked off? Some kind of turbo setup or something?
