this isn't for my car, but, my brother's MR2. when driving after the car has spooled up and air is released from the BOV, the car stalls out.

would a vacuum leak cause this or what would be the potential problem. i don't know where to start with this problem.

not sure how it is on the MR2, but on DSM's if they vent strictly to the atmosphere they will stall, re-route the blow-off into the intake and see how it goes.

even if it is an aftermarket (Greddy) BOV?

sorry for not being specific. here are the mods:

-Greddy TD06 Turbo

-HKS external Wastegate

-Greddy Downpipe

-Greddy intercooler

-Greddy BOV

-Apexi Super AFC

-Garage Exhaust

-Twin turbo supra fuel pump

-Supra injectors

-HKS FPR

-Apexi AVC-R

-Greddy boost and EGT gauges

I hear MR-2's blow off into the atmosphere all the time without any problems. However I think each situation may be different. If your brother's car has a mass air sensor the computer is calculating how much air is in the cylinders and when the air is dumped into the atmosphere it'll cause the motor to run rich for a split second causing the motor to stall and die sometimes. Not sure what everyone does to fix that problem because, like I said, I hear MR-2's blowoff into the atmosphere all of the time.

yes, they have a MAF, you need to route the blow off valve back to the intake..

I think an safc has a setting for vehicles that have this problem.
