Cant get tuned tilljune 24th... will i be ok
Ok i have it all in, cant get tuned till june 24th cause Evans Tuning is so busy, but my question is will it be ok to drive my car as is till then on a base map with a 2 pound boost cut..???
Another thing is i have a slight misfire i can hear it from the exhaust, like a small bubble noise, not loud or anything, car drives fine, just want to know if i should look at anything or fix something??

i would say it's ok as long as you stay away from boost. check the a/f ratio and do a compression test. if all is good you are fine for now just STAY AWAY FROM BOOST

you wont go into boost since you would have a "leak"
This is what I aplan on doing next week until I get tuned hopefully next weekend.

what kind of injectors and management you using? I know for me, I am running uberdata with a P28 basemap, 240cc injecotrs, etc. I am going to install everything, leave a charge pipe unclamped and keep my stock injectors in. I am also going to have the resistor box and clips prewired so I can install then when I get tuned.
So cliff notes
leave charge pipe unclamped
leave in stock injectors
I wouldnt personally drive around for 3 weeks running rich especially if you have some DSM's or something.

disonnecting a charge pipe would not be the best option...but not just disconnecting a pipe
get a filter on the upper charge pipe going to the throttle body...that way you wont be ingesting unfiltered air into your motor
by the way, its well worth the wait for jeff to tune your car...hes a really cool guy and is great at what he does

I don't see you having any problems as long as you take it easy on the engine until it's tuned. Don't disconnect a chargepipe and drive around for 2 weeks that way, or all the way to N.J. for that matter. You'll end up over spooling the turbo which can cause premature wear. Keep an eye on your plugs now and then to make sure nothing unsafe is going on, take it easy on the gas/ try to stay out of boost even though you've got a 2lb. cut. You'll probably notice some bad gas mileage until it's tuned out depending on how Jeff set up the basemap for you, but it's not a big deal.

Re: (NewportSI)
As I've said to you on the phone already the popping at idle is a lean condition. There is no detrimental harm done to the engine. It's not going to hurt anything as long as the car is idling fine other than that. It's a basemap, it's not going to idle/drive perfect. The purpose of a basemap is so that you can drive your car to the tuner.
