Default cant get oil pressure

I just rebiult my b18c abd I am trying to get oil pressure before I start the motor and oil through my oil feed line to my turbo but it isnt making any pressure. I put on a new itr oil pump and poured oil in it when I installed it. I have cranked the car over for about 1.5 min. in 10 sec. intrervals and I havent seen anything come out of the line yet.

Sometimes you need to start it to prime the oil pump.

I'm scared to start it if there is no oil pressure. I used assembly lube on everything, but I dont want to take the risk of messing someting up and I also dont want to run my turbo with out oil pressure.

Well we just did this last night , we pulled the valve cover and we cranked it for almost 4 mins total with short brakes to let the starter cool down , and still no pressure so we just started it with no valve cover on it , as soon as we seen oil shoot down on to the cams we shut it down and new we where good to go , and at idle for like 10-30 secs should not hurt a turbo , just squirt some oil into the oil inlet if your realy worried about it ,

I wouldnt be worried about your turbo Id be worried about your engine. Squirt some WD-40 in the turbo bearings.

taking hte spark plugs out and having he wires off the spark plug is two diff things.

without the spark plug in the head. the engine will crank over faster since there no compression

The motor will spin much faster with the plugs out. You can get oil to the head/turbo much quicker. thats what i meant
