Can you spot the wrongs LOL
This is a local car that is for sale.
Buddy turbo'd it and blew the motor How many things wrong with this setup can you find LOL
yes that line going into the oil cap is the drain for the turbo LOL!!!

Im REALLY REALLY sad to say that that is from around here.
unbelievable..
there should be a test you have to pass before you can modify a car, let alone take on a turbo setup.

not to meotion that the boost reference is holding the frikin gate shut. no need to worry about burning the oil feed. no exhaust is coming out of the wastegate.

haha good eye Mikey, I bet that car ripped for a little bit at 30+psi... something tells me the guy didnt have a boost cut so what kept the boost from going out of control? I wonder if the turbo grenaded from the oil feed/return setup before the motor blew from too much boost and not enough fuel?

I was going to say the same thing. I am in awe of that mess. I can't believe anyone would do a turbo setup that way. And I thought that I had seen ghetto turbo setups before I opened this thread. There's more red/orange RTV Sealant on that engine than I have usually seen on old V8 setups, even sealant between the Turbo Manifold and the Head. This car....
