wanna maybe get rid of my fmic for one of these, saw the 6x10 online for $610!!!! tahts a deali wanna get like 300whp out of my 8v, but dont wanna buy a bigger pwr if i go 16v head or soemthing else , maybe the 4x10?

Are you talking as far as temps are concerned or pressure drop . . . I would say no to both. PD would be nothing catastrophic and it could only be good to cool the temps down even more (especially if you change your head).
