Default Can you feel shaft play?

Here is the deal, I have a prelude that was recently turboed (again). I have several issues that I am not sure about. (1) When I am light on the throttle I can hear and feel a clunking sound that was not there when NA. I only notice this after the car has been running for about 20 minutes or so and it is most apparent going down the freeway at about 65mph. I can let off the pedal and it goes away, i can accelerate quickly and I don't notice it either. It is just at no boost, light on the pedal.
(2) When at less than 3psi of boost, the bypass valve sounds fine. There is a nice swoosh sound when I push in the clutch. As the psi gets higher there is a screeching sound along with the swoosh that seems louder as boost goes up.

So the real question is does this sound like excessive shaft play of something else? What would it cost to get something like that fixed?

This is an F-MAX kit with the Tial wastgate and HKS racing bypass valve on an h23.

If the wastegate is not reading any boost, why would it open?

it's not like it's opening up all the way, but just a smidge.

Maybe I am wrong but if the wastegate is open then the turbo will not spool up. The exhaust would go through the path of least resistace withch would be through the wastegate. I know the bypass/blowoff valve is open but I don't think it is the problem.
