Default can u drive ur car w/ a turbo kit half installed?

like the title says can i drive my car w/ just the manifold, turbo, downpipe, driver side intercooler piping hooked up to intercooler then goes to nothing till i find the right piping?

as long as u had oil feeding the turbo and a filter on ur throttle body....sure.

its and internal wastegated turbo.. its an apexi ball bearing kit..

Just make a plate that blocks off the turbo flange, remove the turbo and call it good.

huh?

anyone got pics of integra piping. i wanna see how it goes from turbo to intercooler.. can i use piping from eg? from turbo to intercooler.

Sorry. I meant that you can remove the turbo, and bolt a plate of steel where the turbo bolts onto the manifold. I guess this isn't really what you were looking for though.

Uhh...that wouldn't allow exhaust gasses to leave the cylinders.

so is mine, but you need to uhook the flapper. Otherwise when you hit the gas, its going to spin it up and try to make 6,7,8 psi, whatever your gated at, and with no resistance to the air, you'll spin the hell out of your turbo.

it would be really hard to overspin a turbo without the increased load it itself produces...

put on the manifold, turbo, and downpipe, oil feed and return, coolant lines if the turbo has them, and ur good to go. just drive it easy and you shouldnt have any problems.

i would not drive the car like that in my opinion
i wouldnt take the chance of messing up the turbo

np sharing is caring

so i just dont plug up the wastegate to the turbo? its a ball bearing turbo too so it'll spin even more.. i have everyting that i need to turbo but just not the intake piping side. cuz its integ i have eg piping.

anyone wanna trade thermal wrapped intake side w/ hks ssq bov for eg for same side but for ls integra?

ls. i dont think it'll work.. cuz egs have different piping.. integ's dont have that hold in the engine bay to go to.
