Can someone double check my fuel line parts (based on the archives)?
So I am ready to redo my fuel lines, and I did quite a bit of search on the archives. Eventually, I got the following parts. Can someone double check for me to see if I am doing everything right? This will be for a prelude h22a4 with 550s and intank walbro fuel pump.
Stock Fuel fiter to AEM Fuel Rail
991945 12mmX1.25 to –6AN Carburetor Adapter Solex, Dellorto, Mikuni
300106 –6AN to –6AN Straight Auto-Fit Hose End. Use Perform-O-Flex, Auto-Flex or Ruff Stuff hose ONLY
400060 X 2 ft –6AN Premium Racing Hose. THE BEST! (Use Swivel Seal or Auto-Fit Hose Ends)
300106 –6AN to –6AN Straight Auto-Fit Hose End. Use Perform-O-Flex, Auto-Flex or Ruff Stuff hose ONLY
982268 –6AN to ½ thread 90 DEG. Elbow. Pipe Thread To A.N. Adapter (or should this be 981506 –6AN to –6AN Union-Male A.N. TO A.N. Adapter?)
AEM Fuel Rail to 6 AN Aeromotive Regulator
981506 –6AN to –6AN Union-Male A.N. TO A.N. Adapter
300106 –6AN to –6AN Straight Auto-Fit Hose End. Use Perform-O-Flex, Auto-Flex or Ruff Stuff hose ONLY
400060 X 1 ft –6AN Premium Racing Hose. THE BEST! (Use Swivel Seal or Auto-Fit Hose Ends)
300106 –6AN to –6AN Straight Auto-Fit Hose End. Use Perform-O-Flex, Auto-Flex or Ruff Stuff hose ONLY
981506 –6AN to –6AN Union-Male A.N. TO A.N. Adapter
6 AN Aeromotive Regulator to stock fuel return line
991906 –6AN to –4AN Union-Reducer,A.N. To A.N. Adapter
700145 –4AN to –4(1/4) Super Stock ST hose end (is -4AN too small for stock return line? do I just cut the stock fuel return line and stick the hose end in?)
I heard that I should use o-rings to seal the fuel lines. If so, where do I get them?
thanx for all the help.

Why dont you just run the lines to the tank like Im in the process of doing? Sure its more expensive but you wont have the factory line choking the rest of the system. Just buy a real filter and call it a day......

Until I got on here I had never seen anybody run "soft" lines from the tank to the motor...you can get good aluminum "hard" lines from Moroso I believe. Should be able to get it at any hot rod/domestic shop..much cheaper too.

Re: Can someone double check my fuel line parts ([Evo]Hybrid)
ok i like you setup evo, that what you are supposed to do, but i have one quick question how did you connect the braided line to the fuel pump, you dont have a pic of that, either because its in tank and you couldnt take a pic of it, or you just didnt take a pic of it, because i know the intake pumps dont have an an fitting on them........
just wondering

Re: Can someone double check my fuel line parts (pornstarSR)
you take the sending unit and cut the metal hose coming out and weld a steel 3/8 bulkhead to -6 AN on top. send me your sending unit I will do it for you so you can attach a AN fitting to the sending unit.

Here is a good breakdown of pictures for everyone. Im surprised the man himself didnt post it.
Now everyone thank Dustin for this, ok
http://imglib.************/index.cgi?cmd=viewcat&id=168
By the way. The fitting needed for the top of the sending unit is Earls pn# 849091 --same part that goes on top of the factory fuel filter.

Damn lucky people. I have to deal with hard lines inside the car and a fuel pump way out of reach....one of these days.

Yeah, I just did the same thing. Not the best pictures b/c they are at night, but it is on a prelude. I used the -10 an aeromotive fpr though, because I ordered it a while ago not knowing about the -6a an version and it is the same except for the inlet port size.

Re: Can someone double check my fuel line parts (98lude)
Ok, read my comments next to each part. Also, I used swivel seal hose ends instead of auto-fit. In addition to all these parts, you will need a -6an port plug to plug one of the fpr inlets (part #581406).
Stock Fuel fiter to AEM Fuel Rail
991945 12mmX1.25 to –6AN Carburetor Adapter Solex, Dellorto, Mikuni yes
300106 –6AN to –6AN Straight Auto-Fit Hose End. Use Perform-O-Flex, Auto-Flex or Ruff Stuff hose ONLY I used this plus a 90 degree to the fuel filter since the hose would not fit right in my car without one. 5th gen may be different though
400060 X 2 ft –6AN Premium Racing Hose. THE BEST! (Use Swivel Seal or Auto-Fit Hose Ends) yes
300106 –6AN to –6AN Straight Auto-Fit Hose End. Use Perform-O-Flex, Auto-Flex or Ruff Stuff hose ONLYYes
982268 –6AN to ½ thread 90 DEG. Elbow. Pipe Thread To A.N. Adapter (or should this be 981506 –6AN to –6AN Union-Male A.N. TO A.N. Adapter?)I actually used a 45 since I found that the EGR valve was in the way with a 90 and yes -6an to -6an
AEM Fuel Rail to 6 AN Aeromotive Regulator
981506 –6AN to –6AN Union-Male A.N. TO A.N. Adapteryes
300106 –6AN to –6AN Straight Auto-Fit Hose End. Use Perform-O-Flex, Auto-Flex or Ruff Stuff hose ONLYI used a 90 here because it made the hose fit better
400060 X 1 ft –6AN Premium Racing Hose. THE BEST! (Use Swivel Seal or Auto-Fit Hose Ends)yes
300106 –6AN to –6AN Straight Auto-Fit Hose End. Use Perform-O-Flex, Auto-Flex or Ruff Stuff hose ONLY yes
981506 –6AN to –6AN Union-Male A.N. TO A.N. AdapterI used a 90 here instead of straight
For the return, I just used the stock line, a hose barb, and some -6an to npt adapter - I was looking through anplumbing for the part number but can't find what i used right now. If you pm me tomorrow, maybe I can go out to my car and figure out what I used (
I heard that I should use o-rings to seal the fuel lines. If so, where do I get them?I got them from baker precision, but you should be able to get them from anplumbing too

Cool, I think I might replace Dustin's setup with -8 AN fittings, I will let everyone know how it goes!

Re: Can someone double check my fuel line parts (98lude)
Ok I figured out what I used. There are three parts: hose barb for 1/4" ID hose (part #984004), 1/8 npt female to female adapter (part #991001), and -6an to 1/8 npt adapter (part #981662). Its about 8 bucks or something for all the parts. This is how I did it - I am not saying there isn't a better way but this works perfectly fine. Just use a little hose clamp to hold the return hose on the barb and you're set. Oh, you might also want to use an O-ring between the -6an fitting and the fpr - I did. Ok, back to studying for this exam.

Oh, and if you can't find some o-rings at anplumbing, I had to buy a pack of 10 buna -6an ones and only ended up using a few. I could just drop a few in the mail to you if you are having trouble getting them elsewhere.

Got it. thanx
One last question, is the plug -6AN?
581406 –6AN Port Plug (o-Ring Seal) Qty.2 Per Pack?
