Default can some1 give me any info on y it is smokin soo much?

i got gsr obd2 with i/e/h and zex intake wet set-up nos on stock internals. It was probably the nos fault for it, but, whenever my vtec kicks in u can see alot of smoke at the tail just lookin through rearview mirrors. i'm assuming its the rings but not sure...If u know wat the problem is, please let me know...

Most Hondas let out a bit of smoke once you hit VTEC...the important thing is recognizing the color of the smoke; therefore, what is causing it. If its blue its oil, if its white its coolant, and if its black, youre running rich.

How are you running fuel for the nitrous system? And how long have you had it on? What is the mileage on the engine?

My advice: compression and leakdown test

i've had it for a while now, bout 2 yrs. its set up with a connection to fuel line to get its fuel and runs it through the management with the nos line and sends the mix to the air intake... has alot of black smoke... i figured i was runnin rich cuz u can smell the gas while driving... how can i get the test done? let me know please, i need to fix if too rich cuz i got state referee and they gonna do a smog check on my car.

I've done a smog check already and they sayed that it's smog lvl is really high...i haven't checked my cat yet but i think it may be the problem, please give me any info if u have...

appreciate u helpin out

oh and the mileage on the dash is 130,000 miles, but may not be the original miles on the car though

Ok, I had this problem myself...

Look for excessive oil around the solenoid...

also, there might be a chance that your valve guide seals are going because of the extra oil blasting on the distributor side of the head.


do a compression and leak-down.
