Can some one explain why my engine is still in one piece?
Well, I found out why I have a vacuum leak
It seems that one of the bolts that holds the supercharger on came loose and fell off. The only problem was that this bolt hold the SC to the intake manifold INSIDE the intake manifold!! So I really have no idea why my engine is still in one peice. The supercharger blades are a little banged up from the bolt being thrown around everywhere. When I took the intake manifold off I found the bolt resting on top of one of the intake valves! The valves seem fine though (I'm not really sure how!). When the bolt came loose, that is what caused the vacuum leak in the gasket. I'm very very lucky. But in the process of taking the supercharger out I also destroyed my knock sensor. Autozone said their 112$, I just bought one on HT for 47$.
The blade ends are a little rough, but they still seem to make good contact.
Intake a little beat up
Only a chip on the exit blades

It was just one of those little things I overlooked when I did my check-over before hittng the track. I bought some red loctite this time.

There wasn't that big of a change or any tinking noises for me to be concerned at the time.

I sent an email to Jackson Racing asking what they though of the situation and have not heard anything back yet
