What I was thinking.....I'm no professional, but I would not run it.
(I have a habit of being the "worst case scenario")

Re: (mike93eh2)
it will work but I wouldn't push it when the sleeve is quisting its putting pressure points on the cylinder and distorting there shape and causing hot spots.
I work at a machine shop and i have seen this before and if you push it
its probley going to blow up but before it does that it will probley leak coolant in the oil. keep up on checking the oil color if you use it
**** luck with the build i hope it works out

Re: (gsrt nick)
my block looks almost exactly like yours.....old benson's block. I haven't had any problems with the twisted sleeves....I don't think I'd worry about it too much unless the sleeves are sinking or you are losing coolant.

I would pick up a block guard and weld it in place and re deck it and U should be 100% more confident. The sleeves did move quite a bit.Good luck,Darrell

I'm not positive but I think he decided he is going to run it for a little bit and have Golden Eagle Mfg. resleeve it. Tuned the car a little more last night and it feels good for the boost level. Going to look at a couple more things on it tonight

Am I the only one noticing these threads keep popping up? This is the 3rd 'my sleeves are goofy' thread I've seen in less than a month, and all seem to have already gotten advice from a respected engine builder/resleever...

It's a conspiracy to cash in on business. They can all talk **** about 9 year old blocks from Bensons, and the real insider isn't here anymore to put them in thier place.
