can i run a 97 GSR oil pump on my 94 block?

as the title says, i think i remember reading somewhere that there was a difference?

Yes you can , only diffrence is the obd2 pump has a crank angle sensor mount on it ,

You use an OBD-2 lower timing belt cover to go with the OBD-2 oil pump.
