Default Can i piece together a turbo with $1500

Can i boost my b16 with $1500 Im in the line of deciding between NA or FI.
Should i drop 1500 on cams pisons retainers or whatever and make 150 hp.
Or is $1500 enough to start a Turbo set up. I really need some advice?

if you do it on here you will be borderline...but it can be done.you just have to pick and choose wisely.

maybe you can find a used kit or something, but don't be cheap with it comes to fuel management

im in progress of boosting. i got my t3/t04 for only $700 but it didnt came with down pipe, exhaust flange, I/C pipe. ( i know its weird )

well its another $100 for the downpipe & labor.

another $40 for the flange.

$350 for injectors and FPR/G.

so im guessing about $1250 so far. plus gas and food to pick up the parts.

i say go boost. i came from NA but im trying something new

I just turbo'd my 91 integra (a.k.a. Cheap ****) for about $300. It's my bucket car that I have fun in. The easiest way to cut costs is if you have the ability to fab up charge pipes, manifold, ect....
