Can i hit 280whp and is it even worth it to do so?
Just wondering if i can hit my goal of 280whp on a freshly rebuilt stock gsr motor with a turbonetics .60 a/r turbo
walbro pump
550cc injectors
hondata s200
plx m300 wideband
full 3" exhaust
running about 7psi
my second question is do you think that it's even worth it to do so...or should i just shoot more for 250 whp...this will still be a car that will get driven 3-4 days a week so i'm going for reliably and power. What i mean by "is it worth it" is will the car still be streetable and will i be able to put the power to the road or just make a smoke show ( i will be getting lsd down the road with this setup )

280whp is obtainable with that setup, providing everything is working properly, and tuned properly, and now, with 280whp it wont be a smoke show at all.

i was at 275whp for 6 months and now i'm shooting for 330whp....it can be done easily on stock...

Unless the e-brake is on Properly set-up a GSR with 280 hp could run some reallt good times at the track, and be safe/reliable too.

is 280-270 pushin it for a stock build...it will be all rebuilt but still stock. I am rebuilding the motor which currently has 106k on it. I will be replacing the rings, rod bearings, headgasket, and ARP headstuds and rodbolts. Think a fresh rebuild with that setup will do good? Can i push for more or is it worth it to be more conservative and have it be reliable.

there are people who are making a lot more than 300whp on stock internal setups...the ONLY reason i'm staying at the power level i listed is because i wanted a fast spooling turbo AND wanted to run on less than 11psi (thanks to the stock map sensor and me being a cheapass for tuning)
You can make 300whp and be completely safe in doing so AS LONG AS it is tuned correctly
