Default can exhaust damage = broken turbo??

I drove about 2km on my freshly built ls/vtec when i ripped the exhaust off on a sewer. The bend over the control arm moved about 4-5 inches forward into the lca and destroyed the pipe. My downpipe bent into the block but somewhat retook its shape with just a little ding. The bracket that goes from the head flange to the turbo flange broke which means the manifold did flex a little. Also the turbo to manifold bolts loosened and blew the gasket out. I have 300km on the engine now and there's massive shaft play. Note that i never hit boost with it since im running a type-r base at the moment.

The turbo is a GT2871R that i ran about 2000km on it last year on my ls-t without any problems. Now i need a rebuild. I can't think of anything else.
