well how much? cheap, reliable, fast.......choose two.
honestly you need to use the search function man... this subject has been beaten to ****. since you dont know what it takes or how much the cost for the components to get to 500hp you dont deserve it.

Re: (MrPink66)
im shooting for about 400 on pump gas, not quite 500, but with race gas im sure would be safe to 500+. I have about 15k into my car. Between the cost of the car, 6 point cage with removable side bars, body work and paint, fully built gsr motor, full-race manifold, garrett t3 60-1, rc 750s, jg intake mani, precision intercooler, greddy profec b type s boost controller, aem ems, trac bars, and probably some other stuff im forgetting. dont know if that helps you at all tho

Re: (Chrisv006)
i have spent way too much. and i keep spending. i just got a full race prostreet non ac kit with the t3-t67HO and i am hoping to get 575 out of it. 84mm sleeved b16 gsr cams, REV valve train, RC 1000cc/min innectors, hondata s200b, and much more. so i hope that a b16 can do close to 600whp.

Re: (boostedcivicsir)
it can and has been done for less than 10k, you just have to stay away from big name parts like full race or any turbo that begins with "GT"
you can budget shop on parts that are not wear items and dont have to be brand new such as the intercooler, piping, downpipe, manifold, bov, wastegate, wheels, springs

Re: can a b16a= 500whp????? (wantboost)
im ashamed of the motor im putting in my hatch lol...everything on the car is top notch...the turbo setup, endyne/air carbon manifold, fuel system, etc. I want to get the car out to AZ sometime this year so i bought a blown b16 longblock for $300, some new srp pistons for $200, eagle rods for $200 and another $300 in misc/gaskets, etc. Gonna try to push 500 on race gas untill i can get a sleeved bigger motor in.
