Default Can anyone verify my numbers....?

I bought a turbo and wanted to make sure that it was the right one. It seemed to be the correct one by my calculations, but I'm kinda slow when it comes to math so if someone can verify it would be appreciated. Here goes:

Okay, maybe I'm wayy off here but........

Airflow [at 12psi] = 27.96Lb/min , PR = 1.82
Airflow [at 15psi] = 31.03Lb/min , PR = 2.02

This is for a gsr (1797cc) with .020" over pistons.

Compressor map : http://64.225.76.178/catalog/compmaps/fig6.html

If you look at my comp map above it looks like these fall in the 67% efficiency range. Can anyone tell me if I read the map right? I'm still pretty new at this stuff. Thanks.

Also, I got a good deal on my injectors, but wanted to make sure that they will put out enough fuel (i am not looking for crazy hp, somethin between 300-350 would b nice).

[bhp x .55(bsfc)]/# of injectors = lbs/hr per injector so,

[320hp (guesstimate) x .55]/4 = 44 lbs/hr

44 lbs/hr x 10.5 = cc/min so, 44 lbs/hr x 10.5 = 462 cc/min

I think with dsm 450 cc/min injectors @ 40 psi (i do have a 255lph fuel pump, so I can turn up the pressure a bit). Also can anyone tell me how to find the ipw of these injectors? I searched here and all over the internet, but could not find the answer, if I had this number I could figure out if these injectors are good. Also if I had some xp with this stuff I would know if the injectors are good just using my good judgement, but unfortunately I'm still to nub for this. Thanks for any suggestions.

ps - bsfc came from Corky Bell's Maximum Boost, I know that some consider it to be .60-.65 for a turbocharged engine.

there is an easier way:

440: ~300whp
550:~375-400whp
1000: ~

450's should be ok for you power goals....it might be close though.

Yeah, 10-4. I have the aem ems as well, so I will have the option to lengthen the pulse width of the injectors, that's kinda why I also wanted to know the ipw.

Can you or anyone else verify whether or not im reading the compressor map correctly based on my pressure ratio and airflow???? Thnx.

everybody says that 450's are pretty much maxed out at 275-300 HP. It would be better to just get some 550's so that way you aren't working the injectors so hard.

Yeah, i'll do that thanks. Can anyone verify that I am reading the compressor map correctly?? I am pretty sure Its right, but I want to make SURE.

btw:

the three points on the comp map should be 27.96 lb/min @ 1.82 PR, 13.98 lb/min @ 1.82 PR and finally 5.59 lb/min @ 1 PR.

It seems that I am really close to the surge point at 13.98 lb/min and PR= 1.82 Will this be okay?? Unfortunately my dumbass bought this turbo before I had any understanding of how to see if it will fit my app.
