AIR is discontinued, so thats not really the best option.

Tony also ports his manifolds so comparing his to a stock AIR is a little unfair. Also, Tony Destroyed the last AIR manifold because he had the older version that ming gave him.

Now now Ryan, didn't we just have a conversation on this topic.

wilson is the **** when it comes to intake just like full race is the **** when it comes to turbo mani, its that clear.
i like the AIR unit and i still want to buy one but no one sells them and the only people close to the AIR unit is "fiber tuned" but they only make carbon fiber intake manifolds for H22's and i dont think the intake tuning would work on a B-series.

Exactly. And they are really helpful on street cars more so than drag cars.

Wilson manifolds is the best when it comes to intake manifolds period. I am not saying the manifold they did for my particular engine combo is the best or cant be improved upon. There are always ways to improve.

why spend 2k when for less then half that you can get a golden eagle one same one Bergenholtz runs now and Lisa Kubo also ran it on her old car i think rota92 did on his old sohc too didn't he and they can be ordered set up for up to a 95mm tb
i think they list around 600 that's a lot cheaper then 2k not to say the Wilson one is not good im sure it is but damn 2k for a intake manifold just my 2 cents

you just dont get it when an engine is maxed out and your looking for performance from anywhere and money is not a current concern, then you start looking to other options

damnit. I had the idea to build a manifold like the the wilson one for a while now. I always thought it would be badass to have the velocity stacks facing the throttle body. You think I will get a lot of **** if I still build it?

Same one you can buy...I dunno about that. Here's a picture of the Mazda one, but its from 2004.
There's not even a Mazda intake manifold list on their website. Not to discredit Lisa Kubo at all, but her hot rod car was right around what all the SFWD cars are running now.

Not at all, who cares what other people think. I was going to put my DP out the hood ages ago, Tony did it, and now lots more but I still haven't crossed it off the list just due to that.
</TD></TR></TABLE>
Its funny that you mention that.....
I didnt know Tony did it, but i saw it in Rado's TC a while back and have been thinking about doin in. So i did it lol. But i guess im just a conformist lol.

Re: (.dave)
the golden eagle intake manifold on the Bergenholtz racing mazda is definitly a honda b series intake manifold(or at least the plenum), with the head flange changed. this was stated a long time ago. not sure what the big deal is, they made a slight change to the angle of the throttle body, to better suit their needs. ive seen it done alot
also, for what its worth. the Wilson intake manifold for honda b series also resides on the fastest/quickest fwd honda in the world !
