Default Can anyone tell me about this turbo?

Got this turbo in on a trade. It's in pretty pisspoor shape too. Has a little bit of shaft play.

Here is a bolt snapped off on the exhaust compressor, it'll have to be drilled out.

Here's another snapped off bolt... the top right one. I'm guessing that's why there's exhaust scorches all over the turbo and the wastegate I got from him.

And yet another snapped off bolt...

And here's the stamp on it.

So basically what I know just by looking at it, it's a Precision turbo with an a/r .60 intake side, and an a/r .63 exhaust side. What turbo is it exactly?

Also, what hp ratings does it have? Anyone who could give me some information about it, it would be greatly appreciated. Also, just to be on the safe side, I'm considering getting it rebuilt. Who rebuilds these? How much do rebuilds cost?

also check on the outlet of the compressor (intake) housing, it should have the numbers for what turbo it is

any competent machine shop (or shop who rebuilds these) should be able to get them out no problem

I found a very competent local guy. So we think this is an sc61 correct?

to check it just look at the end of the compressor housing outlet, you should see the model number engraved right into it

If you can't find the numbers on the end of the compressor housing outlet, they are also on the back of the compressor cover. If that still doesn't help, tell blaast performance to inspect the wheels and measure them for you, then compare them to Precision's website.

$300 is only a generalized estimate. Blaast will give a more accurate quote.

those bolts will be hard to get out since that turbo has heated up and cooled so many times you should start soaking them with pb blaster or some other kind of petrating lube just to help when whoever takes them out
