Cams For Turbo?
Ok right now i have i,h,e,clutch,flywheel,fpr and s2s1 with gears. Well I have been researching and havent really gotten the answer i was looking for. I was wondering if I should sell the s2s1 and get gsr cams or keep the s2s1 and tune out the overlap? Some people like the gsr cams but i was just wondering if i would make more reliable power in my b16 when I turbo? Thanks for the help!

I have a friend who ran S2S1's on a B16, straight up, and it was a hard running motor. You're focusing too much on overlap because of most of the crap you heard on here, and not looking at the whole picture.

So you think that I should sell them and get gsr/itr instead. That boosted guy said that skunks lose power when compared to the gsr/itr cams. But he also says that the more duration helps scavenge in the upper rpms so im kind of confused. Should I keep the skunks or sell them and get gsr instead? Bump for some more help!

He was talking about the Skunk2 turbo cams, not the skunk2 stage 1's.

Ok since I have heard and seen that b16<gsr<itr/ctr would that mean since skunk2 stage1's would be even alittle better since they are only slightly bigger more aggressive but not by much. Im gonna try and pick up a set of gsr from a friend if the majority say it would be better. So bump for some more help asap! Thanks!
