WHICH CAMS R BETTER FOR TURBO
i debating on wich cams i should use i have some gude regrinds specs r
Intake LIFT - 0.410 DURATION -228
Exhaust LIFT -0.41 DURATION -228
the only thing i know about my stock cams in the spec chart is
cam lobe height
in. 33.204(1.3072)
2 choice for exhaust
ex. 33.527(1.3200)1
33.781(1.3300)2
which intake and exhaust cams do u think would best for turbo its going in my fully built jdm b20a(88-91 prelude) thanks

Re: (Prelude91siT)
lol man why get frustrated after you already picked a motor that just isn't commonly used for performance buildups. If you are doing a custom turbo setup on this motor, do you have every last inefficiency worked out so that your cams are the only thing limiting your output? If not, then don't bother trying to change the cams yet. The cam specs you posted don't make sense to me -

33.781(1.3300)2</TD></TR></TABLE>
What units are these? 33.204mm=1.3072"... yep. That spec isn't the lift or duration of the cam; is that the lobe height including the cam's base circle (diameter)? I don't know . What does the rest of your setup look like? How much power are you trying to make? I really don't think your stock cams will be a limiting factor, but you might be further along in the buildup than I assume you are. Good luck either way
