T25 civic

I'm getting ready to install my t25 on my 97 cx sohc. I had a couple questions that I was hoping someone could help me with. I was messing around in the engine bay and by eyeballing it, it doesn't seem that I will be able to keep my a/c with the t25. Is this right or not? I'm using the HF manifold.
Also, which way do you have the turbo facing? I was looking and it seems the intake side will have to face towards the drivers side not the passengers side. The turbo was made to fit a side mount IC and I'm running a FMIC. So I would have to switch it so the outlet (to the IC) is facing the drivers side right?
My last question is where did you tap into for the coolant lines? What parts did you use? If anyone has any pictures of a t25 in a 6th gen SOHC that might help me out please feel free to post them.

my setup is exactly the same.

i'm using a D-series mani with the compressor inlet towards the drivers side and let me tell you there is no way in hell it will fit as is.

yes you will have to drop your A/C. Including the engine bracket.
I know it sucks but sometimes you have to make sacrifices for speed.
And hey look at it this way there is only 1 more month of summer

yah from what i've seen if u use the hf manifol and any turbo pretty much it won't clear the a/c

which d-series motor are you putting this on?

I'm putting it on my D16Y7 (I think) its a 97 non-vtec, 1.6L SOHC. Does anyone else have pictures of there t25 setups? Any 1/4 times? Or dyno charts?

Also, did you all replace your radiator, or are you still using the stock radiator?

damn there goes my hope to do it with a HF mani. Anyone know if a greddy manifold is used the ac can be kept?

Damn just get a different mani and a small T3. My Revhard is going to be for sale along with the kickass downpipe...soon as I get my new schtuff.

How does that manifold with the t-25 adapter plate flow? Is it better than the HF mani? I might be interested in that, and the oil pan. In your FS post, you mentioned the flange on the oil pan is ok for not but you wouldn't recomend it for long term? What is wrong with it and why can't you use it long term?

Well, I never actually got to install the external WG manifold, but from shear physical appearance, I would say it's much better flow-wise. Nice larger runners (compared to the HF; which was designed with sub-100hp in mind), WG reads off of all 4 runners, use of external gate...all pluses in my eyes. I was going to use that with the 14b I have listed on my CRX, but obviously my plans have changed

About the pan...I have just seen too many "my return line is leaking", "my return line busted", "my return line is kinked" posts. I don't recommend the use of a hose clamped rubber oil return for prolonged use. -10 AN steel braided all the way Oil is the live blood of your engine.

but the t25 has an internal wastegate and I didn't plan on changing it. So I'd have to if I used that manifold then?

I suppose you could make a block plate to attach to the external WG flange. Personally I prefer the use of an external gate. They are typically more versatile, more reliable, and can allow for more potential flow to better control boost. More expensive...yes, but I think it's worth the added $. Just my $.02 If you use the external WG, then you would either make a downpipe using a turbine dicharge flange that covers the stock int. WG discharge hole or better yet, have the int. WG flapper welded closed.

I plan on changing to external wastegate later on, so I might as well go ahead and prepare for it now! I actually have to take out the engine bracket? Are you talking about the mount? If so won't that be a bad thing to not have that mount on there?
