Default call me an idiot but these earl's fittings are kinda tough...

just got my oil return setup on friday and today i was sitting in front of the tv playin with it to see how it fits together. i bought the swivel-seal fittings and performo-flex line. i'm guessin you gotta take the red socket thing off, stick the line thru and then screw both onto the blue fitting. kinda tough to do it by hand tho...i'll seriously try this week w/ my tools.

I have no idea why I checked out the installation instructions on this... but I did, and #6 just caught me off guard! LOL!

6. Check the mark that you made on the hose in Step 2. If the hose has backed more than about 1/16" out of the socket as you assembled it, curse and return to Step 3.

Since I didnt have all the proper tools, like the vise, I drove down to Home Depo and used the demos they had set up there. I even used thier wrenches because I didnt have that big of a size and when I was working on it the guy working there gave me a dirty look. I did buy a wire cutter so I wouldnt feel so bad. God Im a free loader....lol

What consists of the "oil return setup"? I'd like to do a nice braided return line with nice looking fittings on the turbo.

Also, any suggested fittings for the feed line?

Thanks. Tom

check out the oil return on this block featured in the golden eagle article on overboost. return goes right into block. sweet. looks like some plain hi temp oil hose?

Interesting! Altho it looks like the hose makes an "upturn." Generally not a good idea.

thats a really minimal upturn, which could probly be eliminated by shortening the hose a little, no?
