California Drivers looking for higher octane? Look in here.
http://www.torcoracefuels.com/ACCEL%201.htm
One bottle is around $12.
Each Bottle gives 90 Octane points.
So in California, 10 Gallons of 91 Octane
+1/1 bottle = 100 Octane - Extra $1.20 extra per gallon
+ 3/4 bottle = 97.8 Octane - Extra $.90 extra per gallon
+ 1/2 bottle = 95.5 Octane - Extra $.60 extra per gallon
+ 1/4 bottle = 93.3 octane - Extra $.30 extra per gallon
A few of my mustang friend use this stuff religiously in california. Most of them have 600+HP
I'm going to be using this. I thought I would share.
I'm looking to use 1/4 bottle per fill up to get 93 octane.

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=416451 check it out. It has alot of info on Toluene. I don't know about Cali but you can buy it here in WA for a couple bucks a gallon at Home Depot etc.

Toulene and xylene might work well, but how much are you guys getting it for? It all comes down to which option is cheapest...
Ryan's option seems very affordable. Don't knock it either, he's just giving his fellow HT members a heads up.

This is cheaper. 10gal 91+ 1/2 bottle you're spending $6 extra for 95 octane. 10gal 91 + 2gal Toluene@ $9 a gallon, means you spend $18 extra for 95 octane.
100 octane with the torco is cheaper than 95 octane with Toluene.

Ryan, how does this stuff smell? Does it smell like race fuel when you run it, or is there no smell?

Yeah, Toulene is about $8 a gallon at Sherwin Williams Paint store. Home Depot and Lowes both don't carry it....they only carry Xylene and that's about $8-9 a gallon.

Buy a Spearco $200 water injection kit that you will own for years to cure your detonation/pre-ignition problems. A lot more convenient as well, instead of adding product to your tank all the time. Wiser investment IMO, but that product looks pretty trustworthy.

Where do you find those prices for that octane? I'm moving to SC this summer and it would be nice to know where to shop....
Some of the Supra guys recently tested the Torco and it was okay, but nothing amazing. If I recall correctly 1 bottle + 5 gallons of 91 octane only gave him the benefits of about 95 octane (based on ignition timing being pulled).

Good god almighty!?!? That's alot? I pay 2.19/gallon for 100 octane...is that 4.25/gallon 100 octane unleaded?? If so that's probably why. For $4.25 in Miami you can get Sunoco C16..
if you want anything higher you have to pay the price.
Yes, $4.25 a gol for 100 octane. I wish we could get 100 Octane for $2.19 here.
We can barely get 91 for $2.50 a gallon.

Re: California Drivers looking for higher octane? Look in here. (98Psi ITR)
You can get toulene in California. I'm in Cali and I have gotten in no problems. And ya its like closer to ten bucks a gallon than two bucks a gallon. I believe if you could rate it, it is like 114 octane, while xylene is like 117, but you can only add so much of it to your fuel. Its not like mixing race gas with pump gas, where you can do any ratio you want.
Good info.
