Remember folks! Look at the subtle difference in the spelling of what Cabletie has, ok? That's a difference.
TurboNETICS (U.S. Wabtec subsidiary)
Turbochargers | Turbonetics Performance
vs.
Turbo-Technics . (U.K. Based)
Turbochargers ? Turbo Technics
Cute, eh?

Very good very good! I believe spool didnt change because your other manifold was "straight shooting" out of the head. And that was very good.
In theory 4 inches of straight after the cylinder head port is very very good for clearing the cylinder and better for the flow. The later the exhaust pulse finds the first
curve the better.
Yeah i was like wuth thats not a turbonetics turbo haha. But that beacuse i missread the turbotecnics. I didnt know turbonetics changed the brand.

Turbonetics has not changed the brand name, tubo-technics is a different company based in U.K.

Re: Cabletie's B16A2 Mitsubishi 16G6 Turbo Project Build
ok big news guys! I did the last trackday of the year and I pushed the little stock b16 at 14 PSI of boost for an entire hour of abouse! no knock at all and awesome performance! I can't believe how this stock motor is going, is a bomb,
However I finshed the assembly of the new CSS block, and I'm waiting for a new timing belt and water pump so I can finally put it in the car.
For sure I will need some new injectors. I was thinking about id1000 but they are quite expensive so if anyone is selling them used I will think about it. Thanks

Nice job mr Cabletie! Very interesting thread, kept me busy a lot. I have tried some turbo exhaust manifold runners and i have to say that if they have large diameter runners and smooth (not too long) curves they make better power without burdening spool up.

subscribed, nice thread! what intercooler did you decide to run at the end and what IC piping, 2.5"?
I saw you were asking about Mishimoto and you were told not to do it...wonder why, didn't see any explanation? I ordered my full cooling system from them just a couple weeks ago lol hope I won't have any issues.

Hey all. Just got my B17A1 with the EVO8 turbo on it running and on the road.
I haven't totally tuned it out yet, running 5 psi and no VTEC and already it's like a totally different car. The way it should have been factory. Spools at just over 3k. Pulls to 8k no problem.
Very exciting to have my car back!!!!

Was about to say the same thing (catching up here)
Mjalay is another user here who's gone through like 3-4 engines in a row and cannot for the life of him get them to last...even though he's at the same power level as you.

Re: Cabletie's B16A2 Mitsubishi 16G6 Turbo Project Build
What a long time!!! I have so many updates that I dont'know where to start.
Let's try!!
I have a bigger intercooler and I'm running 27 psi on the "new" turbotechnics turbo. On inetrtial Dyno I did 485hp and 424 nm of torque. I want to go on a brake Dyno next time for more accuracy. Yesterday has just arrived a new 4 bar map sensor so I can go 35 psi and see what's up :D
Still stock fuel line, stock fuel pressure regulator, stock intake manifold and stock TB.
the new engine has 5500km on it, and so far so good.
Pics soon!
Oh I've also open a workshop here in Italy

Hi Cabletie, I come from italy like you but i live in Brescia. I read your entire story because 2 months ago i install a TD05H turbo from an EVO in my EG6. Can i search you on Facebook? So i can ask you some questions and i can compare my setup with your old setup. Thanks
