A/C, h22a1 and dual core half rad (search is down...again)
How many people are running a racing half rad (any company) on an h22 engine with AC? How are your temps in hot weather with the ac cranked? Where are your fans positioned and what sized fans are you running?
I am running an aftermarket oem style rad (it has aluminum caps but like I said, same size as oem) with two 10" pusher fans mounted on the other side of the condensor. When it's moderately hot out and I have the ac cranked, my temps sky rocket after a while when the car isn't moving. Maybe after like 10-20 minutes in bumper to bumper traffic it starts to climb.
Will I experience this with a dual core half rad? Should I add a bigger fan, or another fan on the radiator? I was trying to save some space just in case I go with a different manifold, right now I'm using a log style, so space is okay, but thinking of going with a lovefab shorty or something similar so I may need some space.
Thanks
