hi, i have a bw s258 with the 0.70 a/r exhaust and a vband discharge.

Im having some trouble finding the correct flange and clamp to complete the discharge, and i really want to get this thing on my dsm since it sits now with a blown turbo.

Here is some pics of the turbo and the style of vband, and a pic of my car just for fun

sorry for the clarity since they are not the best but should hopefully give you an idea.

I emailed him some time ago and still haven't heard back he's probably just busy. I ordered what I needed from someone else who got back to me and it was wrong, so they are going to get back to me and get it corrected. But it got me thinking if I have the turbo I think I do but I bought it from a very reputable place. But when I look on the turbo trader website at my exhaust housing the picture looks slightly different so it has me a bit worried. So I posted pics up so others could look at it and judge if it what is supposed to be. Since I have nothing to compare it too

turbo trader's website is out of date with the pics and new products that came out from BW, so don't go by that. I'll call him again on monday

Let us know how you like the turbo when it is up and running. I am very interested in picking up a BW turbo for my evo.

BTW, Nice car. I had a 92 GSX with 16g project car. I ended up selling it to my roommate before I got it back together.

check the DSMtuners and evolutionm for the evo results on the S200 series Borg-warners. They have chart comparisons and dynos available.

I will forsure, should have it back together very soon. I have heard nothing but good about these turbo's.

I did some checking up. You have the ORIGINAL Borg-Warner turbine housing. This was the 1st generation from a few years ago before the standard ones were introduced. that upper lip on the top of the flange has to be taken off on a lathe. Even Turbo trader doesn't have a flange for that. Your reputable shop had that on the shelf a LOOOOOONG time.

I talked to david at bullseye power today, and i shipped him the exhaust housing and he is going to ship me out the updated version.

And i agree, i won't purchase from them again, this is too much of a pain as far as im considered. I think they had the exhaust housing on the shelf somewhere, and they had to order the rest of the turbo in, im not sure. Maybe i could give bullseye the serial # and find out when the center cartridge piece was made, but thats not really an issue at this point.
