Default Buying brand new center section, instead of turbo rebuild off of ebay...

so my turbo blew an oil seal, and i was just gonna rebuild the whole entire turbo. i found a few rebuild kits on ebay for around $89. but then again they sell a brand new center section on ebay for about the same price and i was just planning on swapping over the turbine, housing, and such. my question is would anybody know the quality of these that they sell on ebay? it says its a garrett center section, but who knows.

heres the center section:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISA...=WDVW

here are my two options:
A) rebuild turbo with rebuild kit
B) buy brand new center section off ebay so i wouldn't to rebuild it.

if you've bought the center section your input would be appreciated. anybody know the quality?

TIA

You mean this section
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...&rd=1

Right?

The seller seems to be a reliable seller for turbo parts. Check his feedbacks.

I dont know' why people personally hate Ebay. They are like any online seller out there! Just on ebay instead of having their own personal website.

Ebay Offer **** for dirt cheap, why not?

Im curious also, for those who have actually experienced with this seller or part.

yes. that. this would be a lot easier then having to rebuild it myself. i already have the complete turbonetics turbo; just have to swap over all the necessary parts.

just wanted to hear from anyone who have personally bought it. i'm more concerned about the quality of it.

It is hard to say. They are undoubtedly like anything on eBay, some sellers sell crap others have a genuinely good product.

Finding a good seller on there is just harder than finding a good site or even a good local store front. You can get cartridges from online sites that I would trust more, on the average, than ebay sellers.

i bought a center section from that seller, for a t3, so probably the same one you bought.

it was supposed to come watercooled, but they sent me an oil-only one...not a big deal though.

good product IMO.
