honestly, if you have to ask, you probably should not be building anything.

I'llhave to agree on that one. especially since on that list there is no mention of management.

who is doing your tuning along with what system will dictate how much hp you will finally put out. Theres so many little things to do when building also the list would be endless.

searh for other b20 threads to see what people have achieved and with what setups. that should put you on the right track.

i would like to see how your going to make over 650-WHP on a single walbro pump. best bet is to get an Aeromotive 1000 or bosch 044 if you want to save money but if moneys not an issue then go for a weldon or barry grant.

and he is telling you to search just like any other member would probably do

as for advice take your time and find parts that work in conjuction with each other rather than a huge list of nice bling that might not go well at all

honestly, i dont think you need 450whp or even more. that is, imo, way to much for the street. just shoot for a max of 400 and your buddy wont be happier.

as tony413 said, you WILL NOT be able to make 600hp on a single walbro pump. aeromotive, weldon, etc....are the fuel pumps you need to get when you get into that range of HP.

oh and read this Thread

oh wow i didnt know that.. thanks man.. it never came to me thinking that he wuld need a bigger fuel pump. and im just doing a favor for a friend who needs help getting parts and im not a pro at this so thats why im askin HT. i told him he shuld aim for around 400 myself but he wants the motor to be as much power as it can get and will prob make it a weekend car. basically right now hes just gettin parts ready so he can start up the build. he is well aware that he will be needing a lot more parts to help support the motor for that much HP

if he want's to shoot for that much power, he better be sleeving that block. b20 sleeves aren't as thick as the other b-series sleeves and are more prone to crack. he should sleeve it anyways for 400whp just for longivity of the motor.

once you get into that kind of power its like a snowball effect, you are going to have to buy a lot of stuff. he better be prepared to spend some money
