My eBay 35r is still going strong after two years. It made 441/303 on 19lbs. Paid $225, if it blows I'll buy another. Great turbo for the money. Shaft play still feels like new.

Lots of people have luck with ebay turbos. Lots of people don't.

I thought they were fantastic. All the right components are needed. You need to understand how to tune, know the program parameters, and features of the engine management software.
The safeties in the software work well. I think blowing it up is actually hard to do. You almost need to sabotage it.
