Burned chip - car wont rev past 2K?
SEtup: T3/T4 turbo, stock b16a2, 450cc injectors, P28 chipped.
Using the uberdata program, i created a basemap ( http://home.comcast.net/~kevin...4.bin ) When i put in in my car, the car seems to idle smoothly, but as soon as you give it gas, it tries to die. Doesnt rev past 2K. I have tried it on another definitly working socketed ECU, same thing.
My burner does not sucessfully erase chips, i have to program over them. I have some new chips coming to me to try out, but they wont be here until monday. I have also tried another "tuned" map for a setup similiar to mine, same thing.
Note: VAFC is hooked up due to me using the hack previously. I initialized it and everything is set to 0 except car selected to 4 cylinders.
Any help would be appreciated.

Since no one is helping out i will give it a shot. But i havn't been paying attention to uberdata much lately. However, if i remember correctly there used to be a problem whe runing the vafc and uberdata. Try unhooking it and see how that works. post your bin up

Re: (T-RO)
Willem PCB3 burner, Amtel 29c256 flash chips. No CELs. I will try unhooking the VAFC and go from there and check out the PGMFI forum. I'll keep you updated.

Im using a Willems burner also.
Use version 97g of the software
make sure you jump the pics (3 & 31)
There is no need to seperately erase a flash chip, when you burn it it writes over anything on there.

Yep, been doing that all along. I'll tackle this tommorow..... i dont see how the VAFC could be causing this because people hook up VAFCs to OBDI cars dont they?
