Built LS bottom end, recommendations for head, and injectors?
Setup:
LS Block, Block Gaurded, Eagle Rods, SRP 8.5:1 81.5mm Pistons, and ACL Bearings.
Im going to be running a t3/t04e turbo around 15 or so PSI with a GM 3 Bar. Staying @ or under 7k redline on Uberdata.
Question 1: Can I run a stock head setup or should i upgrade to some stronger springs, valves, retainers and the such. And with an 81.5mm Bore will I be safe with a 82mm headgasket.
Questions 2: Would I be safe with 550s?? or should I go bigger?
Any questions please ask as I am open to any and all help/criticism

your head should be just fine, but if your going to be buying injectors, spend an extra 20 bux & get a 750 or so. That way, your leaving your self some extra room for expansion later on down the road.
as far as the psi issue, pick a power goal & nail that down instead of an amount of pressure that doesn't make sence!
best of luck to ya

you can even keep the head stock and get an aftermarket intake manifold. that will help out a lil bit.
there really is no reason to get an injector that you are concerned might not be big enough, especially if you want to up the boost. 550s are really only good for mid 300whp range at stock pressure. thats probably where you will wind up, but you will be running ath the limit of your fuel system

i know that with the tune i can achieve anything with HUGE injectors. but i dont want to spend a million bucks on injectors if i dont need them. im really on a cost efficient budget. my main concern is now the injectors. i will probably port the head out a lil and polish it. and leave the internals stock. i priced out an entire ferrea valvetrain. my cost was 669.92. i really dont want to spend that money if i dont have to.
since thats aside. 750 injectors would probably be optimal for my setup, correct?

u gotta 81mm headgasket. id get a vt@k head instead of spending 7 bills on fearra valvetrain. since most injectors are the same price, id get something like 880cc just for the feature

why would i run an 81mm headgasket if i have 81.5mm pistons?? not sure if you saw that in there or not. i dont wanna do vtec because that will simply set me out ANOTHER 7 bills. i will eventually do a valvetrain ontop of what ive got. just not right now. i just want to get the car running 11.xx's right now. and i will probably get something bigger as far as the injectors go.
thanks for all the help everyone

it wont hurt to be a half a mm too big though, right?
and honestly it doesnt make sense. why would you order something smaller than the bore? i do understand that they arent EXACTLY 81mm, but a lil larger. so why would it hurt to run a 82mm on a 81.5mm bore? ill be running a cometic gasket if that matters. i know that i could be neither wrong nor right. being logical what im saying DOES make sense. and what youre sayin is that i could get away with the 81mm gasket, right?

i have precision 780's, i dont think they were that much more than like 550s woulda been, maybe like 20-30 bucks, which is barely a tank of gas now adays.
yea id go with a 700 something cc. they will idle fine still and give you headway to 400+hp later on
