Building my turbo Kit...FINALLY
Finally got the exterior of my car done and time to get the turbo ready. I plan to purchase a Rev-Hard kit and upgrade the turbo. I don't want a turbo for drag racing but just more of highway runs and more power to pull better from higher speeds without running out of breath. And since I have the ITR tranny my car will be running 4.5k RPMS while crusing the interstate so I figure a GT28RS will have "instant" boost and should spool hard enough to keep pulling through 5th to however high I need it to go.
BTW: Never race a Cobra, even though you know you will lose, it won't even be something to laugh at, you will be shamed.

Im looking a about $3200 for a Rev Hard kit with the GT30R upgrade then from Turbo-Kits.com.
Unless I piece it together slowly but I think I may end up paying more.
Then another few hundred for a good tune.
I just hope it's worth it.

Re: (rhd)
Yeah I would look at the peakboost kit or a full-race kit for sure. They have better manifolds and much better parts. They are a little more, but much much better

does that price on the rev hard kit include any engine management. If not your looking at close to a grand for ems and a great tune. I personally bought a used modified rev hard kit for mine for $1800. My theory was theres just some parts that dont HAVE to be new. like charge piping, manifold, downpipe etc. anyways just make sure the one thing you dont skimp on is the tune. that will make or break the car.

and you can get that kit wiht the SC61 instead of a GT30...the GT turbos just aren't worth what ppl are paying for them
