Is building a custom kit on this site a good idea for my noob self?

Is building a custom kit on this site a good idea for my noob self?
- Car:99' SI w/ stock B16
- Goals:Boost motor and probly a few upgrades later on to up the boost a little etc. Nothing crazy just want a reliable daily driver setup. 7lbs to start maybe up to 10 or so in the future if I build up. Have been doing a ton of reading and I'm down to deciding on a kit, like a drag or revhard kit, or trying to piece everything together myself which I'm concerned about since I'm just a noob.
- I found a site where you can put together a custom kit, although the prices are high. I talked to a guy from the site and he says he'll work on the prices, such as price matching some parts etc, and free shipping as a Honda-Tech discount. - The parts I've put together are DRAG Air Filter Kit w/ filter (+$120.00), HKS SSQV (+$210.00), InlinePro Manifold Compatible 2.5" Downpipe (+$195.00), 96-00 Civic B16A (+$425.00), InlinePro Cast Stainless Steel T3 5 Bolt (+$525.00), Set of 4 RC Engineering 550cc Saturated (+$295.00), Walbro 255lph-HP In-Tank (+$110.00), Precision 350hp - 26.75"x6.2"x3.5" (+$325.00), Bolts, Vacuum line, Fittings, etc. (+$50.00), Stainless Steel Oil Feed and Return w/ Fittings (+$120.00), Precision SC34 - 545hp (+$795.00), TIAL 38mm 0.5 BAR (7.25psi) - Silver (+$210.00)
Parts I chose are based on what I think would be best for my goals etc. Lemme know what you guys think as far as if this is a good idea for my noob self, and if you have any advice or suggested alternative parts. Thanks a ton for any help

Nothing huge, just want a reliable daily driver that sees daily highway trips.

one thing to remember is to not overbuild your kit or motor...if you can give a figure then i'm sure you will get a lot more response

That kit should work good for your goals. I can get you Walbro's cheaper though.

you can make that on the stock motor easy...a shorty/ log style manifold will run you about half the price...the johnny race car intercooler is only about 250ish...many parts can be found used, but in great condition...you can make 250 plus for much less money then what you have listed, the drag and revhard kit as mentioned can get you your numbers plus some...

Thanks for the responses. Ya so basically if i'm not building a serious setup for big power I don't need to go with a pricey setup from a place like this. One thing I was concerned about with the drag/revhard kits, is the cast iron manifolds. They only come with a 1 yr mfg warranty and I always hear about them cracking etc, thats why I would feel more comfertable with like an inline pro SS.. from what I hear about them and assume. Which in this case someone is selling a brand new Inline Pro SS in the package for $400, which seems decent compared to it's list price. Also it doesn't look like the bov flange is in a very good spot on the revhard/drag manis from what I've read. If I was gonna get one of those kits I dunno how I'd pick between them. The Drag kit has a t04/t3 turbo, how is that turbo? Better/worse than a t3/t04?
