Default building b16a for turbo - block guard or block-pinning worth messing with?

Title says it all. I have a 1st-gen B16A that I am rebuilding. I have an old Supra CT26 turbo. Target compression ratio 9.3:1 with forged pistons and connecting rods. I have the old endyn block-pinning kit and a profab block guard and girdle. I imagine that I will use the girdle for sure, but what about the block-pinning kit and the block guard? Should I even bother with them?
