I've ran a breather filter on my ~210-220whp turbo d16 (stock) for half a year, then hooked up a catch can off the stock breather tube on valve cover, no problem. However, going to swap over a build d-series and a breather filter is a joke for that. I'm blocking off the stock breather port and drilling and welding on two -10an fitting on valve cover for proper crankcase ventilation. Depends how much power you're making, but if you have a little extra $$, mine as well as get a proper catch can setup.

i have a b16 gonna be completely built. im gonna be running high boost also but looking to get around 500hp but what are the two fittings for that people weld onto their valvecover? do they just run to the oil catch can?
