Bracing the Turbo? (searched)
Heres a few pics ive found..
Now when bracing the turbo, is it okay to use endlinks (like on tractionbars) instead of solid pieces? (just for adjustment).
Would it be safe to say.. Make a rectangular plate that bolts around the T3 flange on my ramhorn manifold that bolts to each side from the top (one plate per side). And then go from there, to say the rad support? (if nothings in the way)
As for engine movement.. Should it be supported TO the engine.. So everything moves? Im thinking that would make more sence, since i dont plan to run solid mounts (daily driver). If i fastened it to the rad support then when the engine moves.. Well something will bend?
Its kinda hard to explain what i want to do so i hope you understand!
Any idea's?/Pics?

I suppose that you could bolt brackets onto your flange if you needed to do so. There is also no real need to use heim-joints anywhere in the brace. The only reason I could see to bolt brackets on and use heim-joints for adjustment is if you want to avoid welding anything, and just wanted to bolt everything together.
You want to only mount the brace to the engine. It needs to be mounted to the engine so that everything moves in the same manner and there is no added stress on the manifold, like there would be if it were bolted to the rad support.

I found that link, mainly just bracing the manifold together? (for weak mani's) but nothing on really taking weight off the manifold

It does need heims on the end to work properly. The idea is to support the weight of the turbo, but still allow the manifold to expand and contract with heat. Hanging it from heims does that.
