Too much compressor surge is never good and should be taken care of. You may have be having problems due to the turbo size you chose or still may be a factor of the vacuum sources you chose with your new manifold. I had the same issue with my blox so invested in a vacuum manifold and problems were solved.

an echo from the turbo, almost like a faint tial sounding bov is compressor surge, and it will hurt the turbo over time, it makes the blades turn backwards.

its a garret t3t04e and a hks bov and the victor x intake mani. has like 6 ports to put in vac. fittings

Hmmmm, the hks bov can make a flutter noise under light boosting. Sure its not that lol? Sound clip

your right it does have a flutter sound at low boost but ever sence i installed the new mani.s it has benn making this weird sound from what does sound like the turbo area i would do a sound clip but i do not have any electronics to do so
