BOV placement on my custom turbo.
Hey everyone. I'm currently cobbling together a turbo for my 1991 Accord LX. I bought this off a guy on ebay for 139.00. It came from a Ford Mustang SVO. I'm only using a T-25 for right now so I feel this small intercooler will do what I need, however you will notice someone put a Greddy Type-S BOV on the outlet port.
Do you guys think I'll experience major issues leaving it the way it is? Or should i just hack off the Greddy flange and go from there. I searched and saw another post simular to mine and he claimed to be having no trouble. I'm not trying to be 'loud' with my BOV I'm just going for CHEAP right now I realize after research BOV's should be close to the TB as possible, but on such a low cfm & boost application should I even sweat this?
I figured for 139 if all i get is the BOV I got a deal.

Thanks for your time!

Re: BOV placement on my custom turbo. (GimpyAccord)
yep, you might be talking about me with the other bov. Mine is right there mounted on the intercooler, not by choice but hell, it still does the trick. Works fine, i've never had a problem.
